Kelvin Clinic provides protocol-aligned setup guidance as part of pre-study protocol checks, giving clinicians study-specific instructions for positioning a phone or tablet. In this example, the device is mounted upright on a tripod with the rear camera facing the participant for in-app video and multimodal data capture.

Secure In-App Data Capture

Video, images, audio and questionnaires are captured securely on phones and tablets in Kelvin Clinic and automatically linked to the correct patient, visit and task.

Kelvin Clinic provides guided in-app video capture as part of the clinical assessment workflow, allowing clinicians to record patients completing protocol defined tasks. Recording can also start automatically when required by the study protocol, enabling hands-free video capture during assessments. In this example, a seated patient performs a right-hand raise task while the app displays task instructions, a live recording timer and recording controls.

Structured Clinical Scores

Clinical scores are recorded directly against each assessment and linked to the relevant recording and task for clear traceability.

Kelvin Clinic provides structured clinical scoring within the assessment workflow, allowing clinicians to record scores alongside relevant images, audio, video recordings and questionnaires with conditional logic. In this example, a Rigidity Video assessment uses separate 0–4 severity rating scales for the neck, right upper extremity and left upper extremity, with descriptive criteria to guide consistent scoring. At the end of the assessment, clinicians can review a summary of all recorded scores.
